Members of our firm have been given four projects this month. The first project is to assist Jimmy with making a decision as to which testing center, Center 1 or Center 2, is more cost effective. Jimmy would like to minimize outside testing services and asked for our firm to complete a break-even analysis to assist. The second project involves reviewing control observations to determine if the visibility standard index (VSI) is out-of-control and assist the manager with next steps. The third project involves assisting Tina with the time it takes to complete service calls in her department. The team is asked to draw a precedence diagram for the service process, balance the line, determine efficiency of the line, and identify where/how much idle time exists. The last project given to the team involves helping set up an efficient space for a call-in service
