1. Mr. William Clinton came into the municipal office to complain that he was sent a notice that he had an outstanding water bill. Upon investigation, it was discovered that his $275.00 water bill was paid, but the Taxes on Roll Receivable account (in the General Fund) received the credit instead of the water receivable account (in the Utility Fund). Penalty had since been added to his water account in the amount of $7.00 (in the Utility Fund). A correcting entry is required.
