Mrs. Williamson is an 88 year oldwoman living in Seattle who has recently began to show signs of dementia and Alzheimer;s disease. Her son consulted an attorney who filed a motion to have him appointed as her guardian. The hearing on that motion was scheduled in King County Superior Court on October 20, 2014. At that hearing, the court appointed Mrs. Williamson's son as her guardian. On October 23, 2014, Mrs. Williamson went to her neighborhood automobile dealership where she purchased three of the same model automobiles; one in every color available.
