• My most impactful experience during this program was doing the LPI self-assessment. It gave me an insight into what I lacked or needed improvement as a leader. My lowest score was "Model the Way," when reading about this section in the book, the phrase that stuck with me was "Walk your talk." Therefore, I intend to commit and follow through with my set schedules and improve my time management skills for future MBA courses.
• My main challenge during this course was time management; this is one of those skills that need to be worked by leaders to be successful, especially in a VUCA world. The future courses will help me with time management by giving me tools or committing myself to improve.
• The technological advancement has required leaders to focus on the triple bottom line rather than just the bottom line. The bottom line includes only profit as the end goal of a business. On the other hand, the triple bottom line not only includes profit but also people and planet (Schermerhorn & Bachrach, 2020). Technological advances have made the work more efficient, and, in my opinion, it has shifted the mission and vision of many industries towards the betterment of people and the preservation of the planet.
• The main themes I want to learn to lead more efficiently are people skills and business administration. From the point of view of people skills, I include soft skills such as adaptive leadership, emotional intelligence, clear communication, and conflict resolution. On the other hand, business administration would include skills like how to actively carry out and manage the everyday tasks of a business.
