Need help answering question #2.

Questions: 1) Why must the coefficient of static friction always be greater than or equal to the coefficient of kinetic friction? The coefficient of static friction will always be greater than or equal to the coefficient of kinetic friction because there is more force at work to keep an object in place than there is working to resist once the object is moving. 2) Why do items begin to slide down an inclined plane as the angle is increased? (A free body diagram may be helpful.)
