a. Assume the existing NICs in your hosts are full-duplex and operate at 10Mbps and 100Mbps. Will you need to upgrade the NICs to be able to run at 1000 Mbps?
b. Assume the existing switch is full duplex and operates at 10Mbps, 100Mbps, and 1000Mbps. Will you need to upgrade the switch to be able to run at 1000 Mbps?
c. Assume all of your existing horizontal cabling and patch cables are CAT3. Will you need to upgrade the cabling to be able to run at 1000 Mbps? (Hint: look at Table 2.3 in your text or the notes.)
d. Will you need to upgrade your software (other than, possibly, drivers) to be able to run at 1000 Mbps?
