The generators are attached to a step-up transformer which has a 1:60 turns ratio. The transformer transmits the electrical power through a 316 m transmission line to a second transformer, which steps down the voltage for use in the hospital. The transmission line has a resistance of 0.500 Q mrs. A schematic of the power distribution system is given below.
