THE CASE

Cosmic Entertainment is a worldwide publishing house providing various distributions of controversial magazines, books, provocative articles, and journals for over forty years. Their workforce has been able to maintain 700 employees over the years with a focus on customer care and distribution. Sharon Lawrence an administrative assistant with the company received a letter from Patrick Adams, who wants to cancel his subscription and obtain a full refund of $80.00 because he has been offended by many of the articles he has read in the companys magazines. When you checked your records for Mr. Adams account, you discover he has already received nine issues of his one year subscription. The companys refund policy states once a customer has used more than fifty percent of their subscription they are no longer eligible for full refunds.
