Negotiation & Problem Solving (BAGB3133) Case Study-Sept 2022 Answer ALL questions. Read the following case study and answer all of the questions. Asmah needs to make a final sale today to take her over her sales quota for this month. There is a 'hot prospect' customer and he is a college student in the shop looking at buying a laptop and has indicated if there is a deal to be done, he might buy it today. Unfortunately, the model which the customer, Johan, is looking at has a very tight margin and Adele can't afford to knock too much off the asking price without attracting the wrath of her Store Manager. The laptop price is RM2,500 and the maximum discount she can give is 6% of the original price, but no more for this model. Johan has made an offer of only RM2,250. It is close to her exit, but Asmah just cannot sell the laptop for that price. a. Describe the above negotiating problem with reference to Distributive Bargaining. b. Explain how Asmah might improve her negotiation performance. (10 Marks) (10 Marks) (Total: 20 Marks) -END-
