Profile a nonstate actor who has been involved in cyberwarfare.

Assignment Requirements

You work for General Technology Security, Inc. (GTSI). GTSI is a military contractor specializing in information systems security. GTSI is building a library of past cyberattacks. The library is intended to provide a searchable information database that can be used to compare new attacks with previous attacks.

Your supervisor has just conducted an update of the programs progress. He believes these efforts will prove beneficial and that GTSI will be able to use the library as a tool to (1) learn more about how cyberattacks are being conducted and (2) profile the organizations that are involved in them. At this point, he wants to concentrate on nonstate actors.

For this assignment:

Report that profiles a nonstate actor who has been involved in cyberwarfare and includes:

The name of the nonstate actor

An explanation of how you would classify the actor (the type of organization)

The role the actor has played in cyberwar

The objectives and motivations of the actor

A summary of the media coverage of the incidents involving the actor
