Write a one-page single spaced email. Open a blank page in MS Word. Add the email headings. Type up your message and format your document as an email.

Subject:

Review the learning outcomes of one online course or asynchronous courses in taking business program (please let me know the course you are referring to) taken.

Discuss the syllabus, and the material that was provided. Give feedback from your perspective. What worked well for you, and what did not? What can be added to the curriculum? Look at the course outcomes. Were they all met? Which were not? Propose two changes you want to see made to this course. Explain clearly how the course could be improved. Give specific examples of your suggestions and ideas. Be very clear.

Be persuasive in your technique. You have learned about persuasion in COM. Use those techniques to convince your reader.

After the pre-writing stage, which includes identifying the audience, purpose, organization, and tone,compose your email and format including email headings. Are ALL the details included as required? Have you answered ALL the prompts?

3) Revising:

Now that you have composed your email, review if for format, tone, grammar, organization pattern, conciseness, clarity, and correctness.

Marking Criteria:

Your email will be scored on the following items: No longer than one page single spaced.

  • Relevant Opening and closing blocks and salutation.
  • Subject that follows standards - short, concise.
    • An opening that reveals the purpose and has some background information about your reason for writing.
    • Body that provides specific information about the reason for writing. Body includes all information that the assignment requires, responds to all questions, and includes very specific suggestions and ideas.
  • Closing that indicates a next action.
  • Accuracy of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Overall format (to, from, date, subject, opening salutation, closing,

paragraph formatting corrects)

  • Complete signature
