Objective:

This activity has the purpose of helping students to use a Minitab Software and prepare a X Bar Chart and a R Chart. (Objectives 2-3)

Students Instructions:

Each student need to get a partner from the class. The team needs to use Minitab tutorial from the Web Site or at L-206, L-210 and read how to prepare a X bar and R bar chart. Each member of the team needs to collect samples to prepare of five observations each from a process. Determine if the process is in control or not. Submit the answers in the Journal section in Blackboard for evaluation. This activity has a value of 5 points.

The members of the team can use the same Minitab program with a different set of output variables.
