OKAY SO we are a Petrochemical Plant and our name is PETRO PACIFIC CHEMICALS (LLC). We will be SPECIALIZING IN THE PRODUCTION OF OLEFIN BASED CHEMICALS TO SUPPLY PAINT AND COATING MANUFACTURERS IN FIJI AND THE PACIFIC.So we obtain the raw material (crude oil) then refine it into Olefin and other chemicals needed by these Paint manufacturers. My job at the moment is to focus on the Marketing Segment of the Business Plan. Our competitors are those companies that supply Dulux, Apco, Pacific Coatings Ltd etc.

So I'm starting a petrochemical plant in Fiji And the assignment is for us to create a business plan that would be submitted to a venture capitalists who will fund our business start up So within the business plan.. theres a marketing segment and that's what I'm working on I'll need a sales projection/ forecasting (for at least 3 years) on the sales of our companies Olefin-based products to our customers (those companies involved in construction) Our olefin based products include paint, rubber, adhesives, coatings Our company is completely hypothetical But we have to base our research on real information Like market trends in the Pacific Existing business that may be our competitors And existing businesses that may be our potential customers Marketing This section focuses on: who is your target market, how you will capture larger market share, how you will differentiate your services (or what gives your company a competitive edge). how you will approach your customers through your products/services (Marketing Strategy-methods you will use to identify & contact potential customers) Provide a review of competing companies their market share, sales & distribution, production capabilities, profit trends, and strengths. It is also important to discuss how you will generate sales once you start your business. What methods of promotion will you use to attract customers? Are there any special offers, package deals, and so forth? Come up with creative ideas here, What are your sales projections or sales forecasting (for at least 3 years)? Discuss major factors that will affect market growth for instance, industry trends, socioeconomic trends, governmental policies and/or populations shifts, nature disasters, and so on). Remember that entrepreneurial marketing covers factors such as customer convenience (place), cost (pricing), solutions (right services), and communication (informing & advertisingl: so make sure to address this here.
