On September 14, 2022, Daniel wrote to Tomson: `Your suggestion is alright with me. Come and collect the car before the end of this month. Daniel posted the letter but unfortunately it was lost in the post.

On September 28, Tomson arrived at Daniels house to collect the car, just in time to see it being driven away by Rita, who had purchased it from Daniel that morning.
