One of the datasets available with the text is about the Golden State Warriors 2015-2016 Season - there is a total of 82 games in a NBA season. One of the variables is Free Throws Made. We will work with this variable to answer the following questions.

1. How much better (or worse) are the Warriors at making free throw attempts compared to their opponents? We need a 95% confidence interval for the difference in proportions for the proportion of free throws made. For the Warriors, the players made 1366 free throws out of 1790 attempted for p = = 1366 /1790 0.7631. For their opponents, the players made 1523 free throws out of 2013 attempted for p = = 1523 / 2013 0.7566 . Work with this as proportion for the Warriors - proportion for their opponents. Interpret this confidence interval.

2. Is there evidence that the proportion of free throws made by the Warriors is better at games they play at home than at games they ply on the road? At home. The Warriors made 700 free throws out of 894 attempted. On the road, the Warriors made 666 free throws out of 896 attempted. Can we detect a home advantage in the proportion of free throws made being higher at home than at away games?
