One of your clients, Eleni Haritou, calls you to tell you about some gifts she made last week.

1. Eleni decided to gift all her shares in Xantas Ltd to her oldest son Nick. Eleni filled in and signed a Stock Transfer form for the shares and placed it, with the share certificates, in an envelope addressed to Nick, which she posted today.

1. Eleni also telephoned her daughter Ariana and told her she wanted her to have her Cartier watch. Eleni asked Ariana to collect the watch once she was back from Greece, where she has been staying with friends. Eleni keeps the Cartier watch in the safe in her study.

1. Eleni then wrote a letter to her younger son Costas, who is 18: "I want you to have Bramble Cottage in Dorset when you reach 25. I will hold it on trust for you until then." The letter is signed 'mum'.

Eleni today had an argument with her children, and changed her mind about the gifts.
