How can flexible benefits motivate employees?

Student: Flexible benefits can motivate individuals by giving them extra incentives to be a performer. Many companies have been looking for ways to further motivate staff and money continues to be a widely used method. Bonuses, preferred stock and annual leave offers are however gaining popularity. As managers consider what motivates individuals they are finding that time in some cases is the best motivator. Giving employee more choices with medical benefits and other company offerings are also examples of flexible benefits. The companies with most choices could in some cases be the lowest paying organizations, keep in mind that teleworking could be important to me but less important to other.
