To convert any flip flop to one of the other flip-flops use of the following steps: 1. Consider write) the characteristic table of desired(required) flip-flop. 2. Consider(write the excitation table of the given flip-flop 3- Put the outputs of the excitation table (in step 2) as outputs on the most right side of the characteristic table in step!) to get a new conversion table. 4- derive the new outputs in step 3 , according to the values of the present and next outputs in the characteristic of the desired flip-flop 5- derive the new expressions of the new outputs in step 4, and draw the new desired flip-flop.
