Option 1: Please post a description of a "wicked problem" you see in your organization. Include:

• What makes it a wicked problem?
• How you think the problem should be approached and addressed (acknowledging more than likely that other strategies will also be needed)?
• Don't worry if your "wicked problem" doesn't completely match the one in Sork's chapter, but do pick a problem that seems really challenging and do focus on the adult education aspect of it.

Option 2: Analyze the following quote from Biniecki & Schmidt (2021). Do you agree or disagree with it? What potential challenges/obstacles you see in their approach? What might the authors not consider in their argument?

"Administrative leaders still depend on input from others to effectively do their job. The adult educators have the needs of learners as their center and administrators need to know about those needs. In addition, administrators can support educators by asking for input into decision-making process concerning planning priorities. Ultimately, administrative leaders are responsible for decision-making, and continuous dialogue about why decisions were made foster the support needed for both administrators and educators to do their job" (Biniecki & Schmidt, 2021, p. 124)

Option 3: Compare the two approaches to program planning offered by Biniecki & Schmidt (2021) and Sork (2021). Which one do you align with? What are the strengths and blindspots of these approaches?
