OR On 1st Feb.,2016, Verma purchased from Sharma goods for Rs.17,500. Verma paid Rs.2,500 immediately and for balance he accepted three bills of exchange: First Rs.10,000 at one month, second Rs.3,000 at two months and third for Rs.2,000 at three months. The first bill was discounted with bank @12% p.a. and was met on maturity. Sharma endorsed the second bill to Suresh and the third bill was sent to bank for collection.
