Outdoor Adventure, Inc. has produced two new tires, Racer Standard and Racer Premium. The estimated mean lifetime mileage of Racer Standard is 43,000 miles and Racer Premium is 46,000. Management also believes that the standard deviation for Racer Standard is 6,800 miles and Racer Premium is 5,200 and that both mileages are normally distributed.

Use Excel worksheet to simulate the miles for both tires obtained for a sample of 1,000 tires (1,000 trials). Use the Data Table feature under What-If Analysis tool in Excel to generate the trials.

1.Use FREQUENCY function to determine the number of mileages in each bin (use table below for guidance) as well as their corresponding percentages from the 1,000 simulated trials. Show the frequency results for both tires in column chart.
