OVERVIEW:

You have been made a project manager in charge of a software development project as detailed in the attached SRS Please note:

The requirements specification document (which includes some user interfaces) has been picked up from the web and it's used as a reference only for this exercise; it has been created by another organization).

I will recommend that you read through the entire SRS document and the sample test plan document to ensure you don't miss anything while writing your test plan.

Your team consists of developers, testers, software designers, and other subject matter experts. You are going to follow the testing process and the test plan template discussed in class to prepare this lab.

As part of this you need to write a master test plan for the proposed project.

Your Test Plan document must include, but not limited to the following sections:

7) Features not to be tested

8) Approach

9) Item Pass/Fail Criteria

10) Suspension Criteria and Resumption Requirements

11) Test Deliverables

12) Remaining Test Tasks
