For example, consult an electrician or a contractor to estimate the duration for electrical rewiring or kitchen remodeling.

b) Historical Data: Project Managers should use the historical data provided for activities that have been completed in previous projects. This data can serve as a basis for estimating the duration of similar activities in the current project.

c) Three-Point Estimation: Project Managers need to estimate the duration for each activity using the optimistic, most likely, and pessimistic time estimates. They can then calculate the expected duration using the PERT formula: (Optimistic Time + 4 * Most Likely Time + Pessimistic Time) /

d) Analogous Estimation: Please to compare the current project with similar projects they are familiar with and estimate activity durations based on similarities and differences. For example, suppose they have knowledge of a similar project where the living room remodelling took 4-6 weeks. In that case, they can estimate a similar duration for the living room remodelling in the current project.
