Part 1

Draw an ERD for MyCollege. You can do it using paper and pencil, or using a tool to draw ERDs. If you use a tool, please mention the name and url. Note: DO NOT USE A TOOL THAT TRANSFORMS DIRECTLY YOUR ERD INTO RELATIONS. If you do you will not understand how to draw an ERD. The ERD will capture the following information: MyCollege has several schools. Each school has a unique Dean. Deans are not shared between schools. Each school has several departments. A department belongs to one school only. Departments offer majors. Departments offer courses. A course can be offered by several departments. Several sections (classes) of the same course can be offered. Each department has a unique chair and several professors. A chair is a professor. A professor teaches up to 3 classes. A professor could teach 0 class due to release time for research or administration. Students enroll in up to 5 (different) classes a semester. The minimum number of classes a student can take is 1. A student can have 1 or 2 majors.
