Part 1:

The 15 data users are: (1)Patients, (2)Health Care Practitioners, (3)Health Care Providers and Administrators, (4)Third Party Payers, (5)Utilization and Case Managers, (6)Quality of Care Committees, (7)Accrediting, Licensing, and Certifying Agencies, (8)Governmental Agencies and Public Health,(9) Health Innformation Exchanges, (10)Employers, (11)Attorneys and the courts in the Judicial Process, (12)Planners and Policy Developers, (13)Educators and Trainers, (14)Research and Epidemiologists, and (15)Media Reporters Using the 15 data users above, enter the reason why the users use the data, and indicate which data uses apply to which data users.

Part 2:

Now that you are familiar with some of the users and uses of health care data, think about some other uses. Imagine you are some of those users. Select 8 of the users and write a sentence about how they use data. Some of the uses might not be obvious. For example, if you have ever read a research article, then you have used health care data because the researcher has used health care data to perform the research. You do not necessarily have to have experince using this data. Remember you are in the users shoes and need to describe how they would use the data.
