PART 1: This assignment requires you to identify the behavioral analysis questions and evaluate the response for truthfulness or deception.
Here are some of the case facts:
The Interviewee is a 23-year-old female, who is married to an individual named John. The interviewee has no prior criminal record. John's two minor children, from another woman, were at his home for the weekend for a court-ordered visit.
On the morning the children were to be returned to the mother, the interviewee found the two-year-old child (Ann Marie) comatose on the living room floor. John and the Interviewee transported the child to the hospital. The child was examined and numerous injuries were found. The child had suffered burns on her arm, chest, and bottom of the foot. She had also suffered blunt force trauma to her forehead. At the time of the interview, the child was in critical condition and still comatose.
The Interviewee agreed to come to the station for an interview.
At the time of this interview, there was no physical evidence that pointed to a specific person and she denied the crime.
Do you believe the INTERVIEWEE is truthful or deceptive.
