For this task, you are required to participate in a conversation with a fellow student and your assessor to gather feedback on your skills and knowledge.

1. Prepare for the meeting.

  • Make a copy of the same table you used for your self-assessment in Part A and remove your ratings and comments (leave skills, tasks and objectives). Save a version of this new document and rename it 'Feedback from others'.
  • Print a copy of the table and ask one of your classmates to complete a honest assessment of your work performance.

2. Participate in the meeting

  • Sit down with your class mate and discuss the feedback that they have provided.
  • Remember to not take anything personally - this information will help you to improve as a professional, and you will learn new things about yourself.
  • Take this opportunity to clarify anything in the feedback that is not clear, or ask your classmate to give you examples of when you have doneot done something in particular.
  • Discuss options and ideas to improve on required skills for the chosen job position.
  • Your assessor will advise you of the date of the meetings.
