Pay rise should be directly linked to the performance evaluation because of the boost and psych that is awarded to the employees who improve their performance. The creation of a more improved network of compensation should initiate performance development opportunities that aim at increasing the output of every employee (Cascio, 2020). Pay rise creates the relevance of better compensation and it should be specific to the employees who can handle the presented challenge. Pay rise should result in a more positive competition where standards are set for every employee and they are compensated handsomely for every performance (Cook et al., 2019). Those who do not receive the pay rise feel more encouraged to put more effort in their work, in an attempt to receive the compensation.
