Percapita spending, or per cap, is the amount of money spent per person during an event. For event planners the per capita is valuable for calculating concession and merchandise sales. In looking at event data and calculating the concession and merchandise sales then dividing the number of attendees usually will give you the per capita spend. Name a situation where you might have had to break down a bill based on number of attendees and calculate how much each person owed for their portion of the bill.
