David has invited Peter to become a Director of the Board of Directors of the company. David informs Peter that the role will not interfere with his sporting pursuits, as he doesn't need to involved in the day to day running of the company if he doesn't want to. When asked by Peter, David plays down the possibility of personal liability and says that being a director of the company is essentially "risk free", as the sports recruitment business is essentially "a licence to print money".
Peter has no business experience and it not familiar with the legal responsibilities of a Director. He seeks your advice.
