The following information is available for the Finishing Department for June: The beginning work in process inventory was $485,716 ($294,700 transferred-in and $191,016 conversion costs) and consisted of 5,600 units that were 60% complete as to conversion costs. During June, a total of 27,300 units were completed and transferred out to Finished Goods Inventory. The ending work in process consisted of 2,100 units that were 80% complete as to conversion costs. The following costs were incurred during June: direct materials $442,260; direct labor $250,000; and factory overhead $666,020. Direct materials are end of the beginning of the process in the Finishing Department and conversion costs are incurred evenly throughout the production process.
