4) Polio is a very severe illness that can cause paralysis in its victims. Many people who had polio in the early part of the 20th century became paralyzed and were unable to move their legs or other limbs. One famous polio victim was Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was the U.S. President from 1933-1945. In 1954, researchers carried out a randomized experiment to test the effectiveness of a new vaccine to prevent polio. The real vaccine was given to 200,745 children and a fake (placebo) vaccine was given to201,229 children. Of the children who received the real vaccine, 33 developed polio. Of the children who received the fake vaccine, 115 developed polio. DO NOT PUT A COMMA ON THE ANSWER JUST GIVE THE NUMBER. Real Vaccine Fake Vaccine Total Developed Polio 33 148 Did Not Developed Polio 201114 401826 Total 200745 201229 401974 4B) Find the probability that a child developed polio. Use probability notation and give the answer as a decimal. Round to 4 decimals Note if your calculator displays a number, for example, 1.234567 E-4 this means move the decimal 4 times to the left
