Please Help. I can't figure these two questions out. Please make answers clear and legible so that I will understand them. I'm trying to learn this but need a little clarity. The signal strengths are in the questions. 1.) is 100MHz, and 2.) is 10MHz.
1.) The receiver is 150 meters away from the transmitter. What are the receiving signal strengths in dBm when CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables are used? Assume that the signal frequency is 100MHz. Show your work.
2.) The distance between transmitter and amplifier is 100 meters, and distance between amplifier and receiver is 200 meters. Cat-3 cable is used to connect transmitter and amplifier where Cat-6 is used to connect amplifier and receiver. Determine the minimum transmission power in dBm if the signal frequency is 10MHz, required receiving signal strength is -5dBm, and gain of amplifier is 10dB. Show your work.
Thank you in advance for all of your help.
