Please help me check my math;

The length of a rectangle is 3 cm more than twice its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 66 cm, find the length of the rectangle.

So, x = width so 2x+3 = length.

The equation I got was;

2x +2(2x+3)=66

I solved for x and got 10. So, in order to find the length and the answer to the problem, it's 2(10)+3? Which is 23.

So width is 10, and the length is 23? Did I do that correctly? 23(2)+10(2)=66. The wording of the problem confuses me greatly.
