1. The chapter that I am struggling with the most is chapter 14. I feel it was rushed but I was able to learn from the notes and some videos the basics of how to do most of the computations. The biggest thing that still confuses me is knowing which correlation should be used to measure the relationship between variables. Between the Pearson correlation, Spearman correlation, point-biserial correlation, and phi-coefficient, I'm having trouble remembering off the top of my head exactly what each of these does and which variables they require to solve them. If any of you have any helpful videos or ways that have been helpful in remembering, I would love to hear them! Thanks for a great class!
2. I found statistics to be a bit more difficult than math 151 because there are numerous mathematical concepts to memorize or understand, which can be very overwhelming. Aside from these concepts, there are numerous formulas to learn, some of which are quite complex, making it difficult to apply them correctly. I sometimes find myself determining or constructing the hypothesis of a given problem, which causes me to struggle with whether to reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis. Finally, finding the test statistic for a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) can be difficult for me due to the numerous steps required to obtain all of the required values. I'd have to look at my notes while doing the mindtap activities so I could follow the steps correctly.
