PLEASE help me with this Excel problem on my homework!
11) 6 Points: On the Orders sheet: Background: Appliance Mart Superstore, Inc. has been in business for 25 years. One of the managers' biggest problems is deciding how much inventory they should keep in the warehouse. They like to take advantage of special manufacturer price reductions, but they have a limited amount of warehouse space. Help determine the most efficient and profitable combination of products (or product mix") to keep on hand, given this limited amount of space. Use Solver to make the product mix recommendation (how many of each appliance they should order to be most profitable). Some customers have already placed an order request. Be sure you order enough to fill these orders too. On the Orders sheet use Solver to find the desired product mix following the details below. 1) Maximize the Total Profit for All Appliances (Set Objective Cell with to Max). 2) Let Excel change the Quantity to Order for each appliance (select the appropriate range of three cells for the By Changing Cells.) 3) Add the following constraints: a) The Total Cost of All Appliances must be less than or equal to $50,000. b) The Total Cubic Feet of All Appliances must be less than or equal to 1,300. c) The Quantity to Order must be at least enough to cover customer demand (greater than or equalto) for all three appliances (you can use ranges to make it faster) d) You can only order whole units (quantity to order changing cells must be integers). 4) Run Solver. Verify that all the constraints have been met. (Refrigerators 31; Stoves 14; Microwaves 91) 5) Create an Answer Report and SAVE your Workbook (still macro enabled format).
