The client calculates the depreciation of the branch office building using the straight-line method with an estimated life of 20 years. You have recalculated the depreciation calculation and found that there is no material difference to the client's calculation. The branch office building and land were sold during the period and the client recorded the difference between the sale proceeds and the salvage value of the land and building as a sale and added it to their operating profit.
