During this 8 week's course in Organizational Leadership, I have learned several different types of leadership and skills needed to succeed. Below I have outlined the importance of 7 key leadership ideas:

Situational Leadership: Leaders make decisions based on what is best for the group. Similarly, the situational leadership style ensures the ability to respond to any given event and organisational problem by incorporating multiple personalities. Leaders who have established a mutually beneficial rapport with their teams are better able to adapt to changing circumstances by meeting the requirements of their personnel (Brooke, 2022).

Autocratic Leadership: The term "autocratic leadership" is used to describe a leadership style that implies total authoritarian control over subordinates and employees alike. In a fast-paced work setting, this kind of leadership is useful for making the snap judgments necessary to get things done (Brooke, 2022).

Authentic Leadership: True leaders are trustworthy role models because they always act in their followers' best interests. They are willing to push up the leadership chain, question the existing quo, defend their people or procedures, and take responsibility when they make a mistake. Genuine leaders invest heavily in self-reflection and the development of their interpersonal skills. Do more and better over a longer period of time. Bring excellent outcomes over time. "get their ego out of the way" and help others grow and flourish. One way they do this is by having an effect on and motivating those around them (2014).

Strategic Leadership: A style of management in which executives improve their firms' long-term prospects by setting forth an inspiring vision and ensuring the organization's short-term financial security. They are able to do this without disrupting regular procedures. Strategic leadership features, such as a common set of values and a well-defined direction, encourage autonomy among workers and reduce the need for heavy-handed management. Leaders that take a strategic approach to management are better able to deal with unexpected problems when they arise, such as adjusting the company's vision to reflect current market conditions. A strategic leader needs to have both the ability to see the big picture and managerial skills to get things done. The individual must have risk tolerance and sound judgment (Rowe et al., 2009)

Diplomatic Leadership: Leadership as a diplomat entails serving as a unifying force for a team and forging strong relationships with each member. Relationships with other people are very important to diplomats and other leaders. In a group, they serve as the binding agent. Leaders in the diplomatic community tend to be affable, sociable, and generous people who form strong ties with their staff. Peacemaking and conflict avoidance are two of their most prominent traits. Diplomats place less emphasis on pushing personnel in favour of placing them in roles that play to their strengths (Leadership styles quiz, 2022)

Inclusive Leadership: This kind of leadership is full of life, energy, and motivation. Every employee feels valued and respected and wants to work toward a common goal. They are in charge of a diverse group of people and ensure everyone feels valued at work. Their ideas are vital. They make their people feel like they own the system and have a say in what happens to it. Inclusive leaders genuinely value and respect everyone for their talents and contributions, and they ensure a better culture by encouraging all employees to give their ideas and take the lead (Bilimoria, 2012).

Transformational Leadership: Transformational leadership focuses on advancing an organization and improving it. These executives focus on strategies to excite staff, such as pushing them beyond their comfort zones. Transformational leaders are those that prioritize company goals over employee needs. Transformational leaders are courageous and certain (2022, Brooke). In transformative leadership, there is a deep link between leaders and followers. Leaders who help their group members recognize the task's significance and higher purpose can encourage and inspire their followers. In addition to focusing on the performance of group members, transformational leaders desire every member of their group to realize their full potential. Typically, leaders that employ this method have high ethical and moral standards.
