The converging lens of your magnifying glass has a label on it stating that it has a focal length of 8.7 cm. You position the lens a distance of 6.2 cm from the splinter. What is the distance between the resulting image of the splinter and the lens? Give your answer in units of cm. Do not enter the units into the answer box.
