I find that the fundamental importance of working together is at the heart of both my guiding philosophy and the way I approach the role of leader. I have firm faith in the need of fostering an atmosphere and culture of cooperation, in which the contributions of all relevant stakeholders are appreciated and valued for the insights and views they provide. Because of this, it is possible to approach issue solving and decision making in a way that is more imaginative and creative. I also think that a good leader should have a crystal-clear vision and the ability to articulate that goal to their team in a way that is easy to understand. This guarantees that everyone is on the same page and working toward the same objective. In my opinion, a leader should constantly be eager to learn new things, develop professionally, and adjust their style to meet the ever-evolving requirements of the business. They should be receptive to input and ready to make adjustments in order for the effectiveness of the team to be improved. I always thought that collaboration, communication and trust were the most important leadership styles but I have learned that emotional intelligence, kindness, compassion, ability to adapt to changing circumstances, inspiration, motivate, that no one size fit all are equally as important and are a prerequisite for an effective leadership.

My personal individual philosophy and approach to leadership is rooted in the core value of collaboration. I strongly believe in creating an environment and culture of collaboration, where all stakeholders are respected, and their ideas and perspectives are valued. This allows for a more innovative and creative approach to problem solving and decision making. I also believe that an effective leader should have an unclouded vision and be able to communicate it clearly to the team. This ensures that everyone is on the same page and is working towards a common goal. I believe that a leader should always be willing to learn, grow, and adapt to the changing needs of the organization. They should be open to feedback and be willing to make changes in order to improve the effectiveness of the team. I have found that my personal relationship and experiences to leadership have changed over time. Also, my outlook and understanding to the importance of a strong leader has changed over this quarter. I began my leadership journey with a more traditional approach, where the leader held all the power and authority, and decisions were made unilaterally. Over time, I have come to understand the importance of collaboration, communication, trust and how it can lead to improved problem solving and better decision making. These are styles of leadership that I have grown to love and have implemented in my leadership style for a while now. I have also become more aware of how to better understand and manage people, and how to create environment that allows for creative thinking and open communication. I have become more aware of my own strengths and weaknesses and how to best use them in a leadership role. Overall, my personal philosophy and approach to leadership has evolved over time as I have gained new experiences and learned from my mistakes. I believe that effective leadership requires both a firm commitment to collaboration and an openness to learning and adapting to new challenges.

COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION

I believe that collaboration and communication are essential aspects of successful leadership. As a leader, it is important to be able to build strong relationships with team members, actively listen to their ideas and opinions, and use them to create shared vision and strategy. I also believe that collaboration should extend beyond the team to include other stakeholders, such as customers and partners, to ensure that everyone's needs are met and that the best solutions are reached. When I was starting out my career, I was part of a small team of five people. We had to work together to develop a product that was not only cost effective but also of good quality. As the leader of the project, I was tasked with ensuring that everyone was working together and communicating effectively. I took the time to get to know each team member and their strengths, and then I delegated tasks accordingly. Everyone had a specific job to do, and I was there to facilitate communication and help us brainstorm ideas. In the end, we achieved our goal, and it was a great feeling for all of us. I learned that effective collaboration and communication are essential for successful leadership.

TRUST

I feel that trust is an essential element of successful leadership. I believe that trust must be earned, both from the team and from external stakeholders, and that it can be built through open and honest communication, consistent and fair decision-making, and a willingness to accept feedback and criticism. Trust also requires that leaders be accountable for their actions and that they foster a safe environment in which team members can take risks without fear of failure. When I first joined a new company, I was overwhelmed by the level of responsibility that was given to me. However, my supervisor made me feel like I was capable of handling it all. She gave me the autonomy to take ownership of projects and make decisions without needing to check in with her every step of the way. This trust gave me the confidence that I needed to succeed. I learned that trust is an important part of successful leadership. It allows individuals to feel empowered and motivated to do their best work.

Over the course of the quarter, I was introduced to many different types of leadership styles. After learning about the benefits and how they can affect others in a positive and productive way. I now incorporate emotional intelligence, kindness, compassion, adaptive change, inspire, motivate and that no one size fits all into my professional and personal life to be an effective leader. I personally have had positive experiences with theses leadership styles and now I would like to pass them along so others can feel the positive experiences I have felt.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

I believe that effective leadership requires being able to recognize, understand, and control one's own emotions as well as those of others. In order to effectively lead their team, leaders must be able to communicate with them and comprehend the emotions of those they are leading. Understanding one's own emotions as well as those of others is necessary for this. In order to effectively communicate with their team, leaders need to be able to identify and understand their own emotions. This is significant because it fosters team trust and increases followership of the leader. I was in charge of a group project in college. I needed to be able to comprehend and empathize with my team members' feelings in order to lead the project successfully. This helped me establish a solid rapport with them and made it possible for us to collaborate more successfully. I was able to gain the respect and trust of my team by demonstrating understanding and empathy, and as a result, they were more likely to follow my instructions.

KINDNESS AND COMPASSION

Kindness and compassion, in my opinion, are crucial traits for any leader because they demonstrate concern for the people that they oversee and a willingness to prioritize their needs. This is how I feel because I think that people are more likely to follow someone who will treat them with kindness, compassion, and respect. For instance, I had to take charge of a group of kids when I worked as a camp counselor. They were much more willing to follow my instructions and respect me as a leader after I treated them with kindness and compassion. I was able to establish trust with them by being kind and compassionate toward them, which increased their propensity to comply with my orders.

ADAPTIVE CHANGE

I feel that adaptive change-leading adaptive work is a crucial component of effective leadership because it entails knowing when change is necessary, being able to accept it, and then being able to make the adjustments required to get the desired result. I have this opinion because I think that in order for a leader to succeed, they must be able to spot when a tactic or strategy is ineffective and then be able to adjust in order to reach their objective. , I was in charge of a client's project. In order to finish the project on time and to the client's satisfaction, I had to be able to spot when our initial strategy wasn't working and then be able to make the necessary changes. I was able to make the necessary changes to the project to ensure that it was finished on time and to the client's satisfaction by being able to spot when our initial strategy wasn't working.

INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE

I feel a leader should inspire and motivate people to work hard and achieve their goals. A leader, in my opinion, should be enthusiastic about their objectives and work hard to motivate their followers. This kind of leadership was present when I was a senior in high school. My basketball coach used to inspire us by holding us to lofty standards and stressing the value of teamwork. He motivated us to put in more effort and strive for excellence. I will work to be an inspiring and motivating leader in the future by establishing clear expectations and inspiring others to pursue success.

NO ONE SIZE FITS ALL

In my opinion, different people require assorted styles of leadership. The individual strengths and weaknesses of their followers should be taken into consideration when developing a leader's style. For instance, I encountered this kind of leadership during a summer job. My boss was aware of my analytical thinking style and encouraged me to take initiative by giving me the freedom to come up with creative solutions to problems. This allowed me to learn, grow and find my strengths and weaknesses.

I currently see myself as an empowering leader in the future. I believe in empowering my team members and giving them the tools, resources, and support they need to take ownership of their work and feel confident in their decision making. I strive to create environment of collaboration and trust, where everyone has the opportunity to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas. I am also a strong advocate for continuous learning and development, and I believe in helping others find and pursue their passions, as well as guiding them in their professional goals. In the future, I will work to become a leader who can encourage and inspire others to set and achieve ambitious goals. In addition, I will work to be a leader who can adjust their approach based on the strengths and weaknesses of each of their subordinates. I will make an effort to create collaborative, innovative environment where everyone is encouraged to participate and to share their ideas. I will work to be a leader who can support and encourage their followers while also giving them the freedom to take charge of their own actions. I think that by doing this, I will be able to establish a climate of mutual respect and trust where everyone can fulfill their potential. I must continue to strengthen my own leadership abilities and keep up with the most recent leadership research and best practices in order to accomplish these objectives. In addition, I want to benefit from the many conferences, workshops, and seminars that are available for leadership development. In order for me to continue developing as a leader, I will also work to foster an environment where input and discussion are welcomed. I firmly believe that by carrying out all of these actions, I can develop into an inspiring and effective leader who can bring out the best in their followers.

I have been fortunate to have had many people in my life who have impacted my views, lives, and relationships with leadership. My parents were both incredibly strong, determined leaders in their respective fields, and they were always pushing me to be the best version of myself. My teachers and professors were also instrumental in helping me to hone my leadership skills, providing me with knowledge and guidance to help me make informed decisions. I have had some amazing mentors throughout my years, who have inspired me to be a better leader and have taught me valuable lessons about the importance of taking risks and learning from failure. I also have had some incredible colleagues who have shared their own experiences and insights with me, and have helped me to grow and develop as a leader. Their support and encouragement have been invaluable, and I'm so thankful for their guidance and friendship.

The need of emotional intelligence, kindness, compassion, adaptable transformation, inspire, motivate and no one size fits all in effective leadership has been clear to me over the course of the quarter. I will continue to foster an atmosphere of collaboration, communication, and trust where everyone is given the chance to share their own viewpoints and thoughts. I also strongly believe in helping people discover and follow their interests as well as assisting them in achieving their professional objectives. I also strongly support lifelong learning and growth. My leadership experiences and personal journey have taught me the value of adaptable transformation, teamwork, trust, emotional intelligence, kindness, and compassion. With this information, I want to keep leading with empowerment in the future.
