Please respond to this discussion post of a classmate

Planning is important in all aspects not just work, but planning when it comes to work is highly important. Having a plan makes things easier for all employees. It keeps things running smoothly and allows for less work related errors. Some times plans change and that is OK because you had a plan to start with and if something changes you know how to go off of your other plan. As an assistant manager me and the store manager does a lot of planning for every day. We have to decide what's the best route to take to complete goals and a plan helps. Our plans do not always work out do to various reasons such as short staffed or not enough product to process.

My daily life revolves around a planned out schedule. I do this because I am a mom of two boys who attend school, I work full time, and I also have my own school work to do. If I do not plan out my day to a T i have trouble completing everything or i fall behind schedule. My day is planned from my 5 am wake up till I go to bed around 10 pm. Some times my day does not go as planned such as staying at work late and getting home in just enough time to feed my kids and get them ready for bed and my self ready for bed.

I think I could do a little bit of a better job both at home and at work. There is always room for improvement. Change to me is hard to get used to. When the COVID hit I and I had to be home for 3 months it was a struggle especially because I'm so use to a busy schedule and taking kids to school. Everyone was home and I got to laid back with being home that when I had to get back into my normal schedule it was stressful and hard to do. Sometimes change is good and allows for you to take a load off, but when it comes to picking that load back up its stressful and hard to get use to.
