The Walt Disney stood out to me as a company to research because my family and I visited Disneyland in Anaheim, CA in February 2020. It was very fun for the children, and I also enjoyed it. It was a unique experience. We are hoping to go to Disney World sometime in the next couple of years. We also own Disney stock right now. It has not been performing well lately, but in the long term I am hoping it will provide some reasonable returns, if not, we will liquate the stock.

The Walt Disney Company offers Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products in the global arena that bring stories and characters to life using theme parks and resorts. Disney has many themed parks and resorts throughout the world including Disneyland in California, Disney World in Florida, Disney Resort in Shanghai, Disneyland in Paris, Disney Resort in Tokyo, Disneyland in Hong Kong, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, and Aulani (Disney Resort and Spa) (The Walt).

Does the company consider itself and discuss the importance of being a global company?

Disney was established in 1923 with a vision of becoming one of the worlds leading producers and providers of entertainment and information (The Walt, Mission Statements). The international aspect is woven into Disneys mission statement. Their goal is to entertain, educate, and inspire people around the globe using unmatched storytelling. Disney has remained loyal to their vision and have become a world-famous company with its operations in 45 countries (The Walt).

International Content and Operations group focus on developing and creating local and regional entertainment for international The Walt Disney streaming services. The group comprises of teams in Asia Pacific, EMEA, India, and Latin America (The Walt, International Content).

The Walt Disney Company is a leading diversified international family entertainment and media enterprise (The Walt , Our Business) which includes theme parks, resorts, and many other entertainment faucets.

Does the home page allow the user to choose the language of the presentation viewed indicating global users?

Unfortunately, I did not see an option to choose different languages on Disneys websites. The only place I saw options to change languages was several layers deep on the disneylicensing.com for businesses contracted with Disney.
