PLEASE SOLVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

(c) A mixture (blend) of tertiary butyl alcohol, coker gasoline, and FCC gasoline is given in Table Q2.1 below: (i) Determine the volume fractions of the various components in the blend (at least 4 decimals, e.g. X.XXXX). [3 marks] (ii) Calculate the Research Octane Number (RON) of the blend by linear mixing of RON (to 2 decimals). [2 marks] (iii) Determine RON blending indices for each component ('BIRON') according to equations (1-3) below (to 2 decimals). [3 marks] (iv) Determine the mixture's blending index and its RON using Table Q2.2, which used Eq. 2 to find the data shown. Calculate the \% error between the RON found in (ii) and that found in (iv). [4 marks] Table Q2.2 Relevant extract of table of RON vs. BIRON For 11RON76 BloNi=36.01+38.33(RON/100)99.8(RON/100)2+341.3(RON/100)3507.02(RON/100)4+ 268.64(RON/100)5Eq(1) For 76RON103 BlONi=299.5+1272(RON/100)1552.9(RON/100)2+651(RON/100)3 Eq(2) For 103RON106 BlONi=2206.34313.64(RON/100)+2178.57(RON/100)2 Eq(3)
