Please submit answers to the five questions found in the procedures sections above and also submit answers to the following questions: Q6: Texas Instruments is one of the world's leading producers of computer chips. They make a temperature sensor called the LMT84. According to t sheet (link here) it is capable of measuring temperatures between -50C and 150C while being supplied a voltage anywhere between 1.5 and 5.5 volt that the Arduino provides either 3.3V or 5V depending on the pin you use. The LMT84 datasheet gives the conversion from voltage (in millivolts) to temperature (in Celsius) on page 10. Please use that equation (labeled equation 2 in the document) and indicate the temperature corresponding to a 1000mV.
Q7: For temperatures between -50 and 150 Celsius, plot the voltage (y-axis) versus the temperature (x-axis) for this sensor, using MATLAB to do the p Using equation 1 in the linked document makes this easy. Be sure to include labels on the axes along with units. Labels are often written something Speed (ms) or Force (N) or Voltage (mV). To know if your plot looks correct, it should match the plot on the bottom right of the cover page of the Tex Instruments linked document, except that yours will be in millivolts. If you don't know how to plot in MATLAB, see their excellent documentation.
Q8: Please use the transfer function in the linked sensor document above, and using that function in MATLAB, calculate the expected output voltage 0 sensor for temperatures of -30C and 130C.
Please submit all of this lab with everything mentioned above as a pdf file that was created as a MATLAB live script (like always). If you didn't take PHY there will be a bit of a learning curve involved, but MATLAB provides excellent support for new users, lots of tutorials, and online help.
