II.Materials: Toy gun with plastic ball as bullets, metre stick/ ruler, protractor, scientific calculator Ill.Procedure: Effect of Angle of Projection on Range and Maximum Height 1. Position the gun on the floor. Incline the gun such that it makes a 15 with the horizontal. This angle is the angle of projection. 2. Make a shot. Mark the part of the floor where the bullet plastic ball first landed. Measure the range of the bullet/ plastic ball. Record it in the data table. Make three trials. Observe also the maximum height obtained by the bullet/ plastic ball. 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for other angles of projection: 30; 45; 60; and 75 . 4. Solve for the initial velocity for each angle of projection. Record in the data table. 5. Compute for the maximum height of the bullet/ plastic balloon at different angles of projection. Record in the data table. 6. Rank the maximum height attained by the bullet for each angle of projection. Use a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 as the highest. Record your findings in the data table. IV.
