1)Suppose we have conducted an experiment with 27 successes out of 78 trials.

a)Report a point estimate of the sample proportion and a 95% confidence interval.

b)Report a 90% confidence interval. How does it compare to the 95% confidence interval? Interpret the intervals and the differences between the two.

c)Test the null hypothesis that the true sample proportion is 0.5 with a two-sided alternative. Interpret your findings.

d) Suppose we have conducted a second experiment with 29 successes out of 88 trials. Construct and interpret an appropriate test for whether the proportions from our two studies are equal.
