Make sure the notebook is working without any issues. Your notebook should run completely without any errors. TomKon is a canning company that sells canned tomatoes to large supermarket chains in the area. Each case of canned tomato requires an average of 0.2 day of labor to produce. The aggregate inventory on hand at the end of June is 600 cases. The predicted total demands from supermarket chains (in number of cases of tomatoes) for the next 12 months are as follows: TomKon currently has 21 workers. The cost of hiring and training a new worker is 4000 TL, and the cost to lay off one worker is 10000 TL. It costs 120 TL to manufacture a single case of canned tomatoes. The selling price of a can is 220 TL. During the year, you can earn 2% interest per unit capital each month. Thus, the firm estimates a cost of 2.2 TL (220\times .02=4.40 TL) to store a case of tomatoes for a month (all other cost related to holding inventory is ignored). They would like to have 2,300 cases in inventory at the end of the 12-month planning horizon.
