Pre-Assignment Instructions:

1. The first thing you will need to do is choose a manager or leader from the world of business. This person does not need to be a manager in the sense of their title, but rather anyone who manages people in a significant way, so the CEO of a massive corporation or the founder of a tech start-up are viable options. If you are feeling creative, you can choose a political figure or military leader, as long as the concepts of the assignment directly apply. The manager you select can be living or dead, as long as there is enough information available on them for you to fill out the information required to complete your bio. Assignment Tasks:

1. Familiarize yourself with the Biography of a Manager template for this assignment
2. Research the manager you have chosen. Find out what they did and what they are well known for. Think about their management style and the social and economic contexts in which they and their company operated. At the top of the Biography of a Manager template, fill in their name and the name of their company.
   • For each of these, fill in what you know from your research and perform more research if necessary.
   • Make sure that you adhere to the word count for each section.
   • Font should be Times Roman 12 pt font.
   • Text must be single spaced using the MS Word template provided. Rich Text File (RTF) documents are also acceptable. Please do not submit this assignment in PDF or any other format.
3. Once your Biography of a Manager template has been completed:
   • Make sure that you have cited your sources correctly.
   • There must be cited content included in each of sections 4 through 8 in APA format.
