Problem statement: The KF School of Computing and Information Sciences Advising center at FIU is looking for a student assistant to work at the front desk. You have been asked to design the screen for a simple job application form that will be used to screen a successful candidate for the job. This will be a desktop application that will be used internally (see provided sample).

Tasks/Requirements: Use Visual Studio to create a Visual Basic project named Project-1. Be sure to create and save your Visual Studio (VS) project on your U: drive (if using VLab) or on your specified drive in its own folder! 1. Data that must be collected by the application from the form: a. Candidate name (First and Last) b. Candidate address, city, state, zip c. Candidate phone number d. Candidate email address e. Desired work shift (choices are Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend) 2. The form must check that the candidate is 18 years of age or older. 3. The form must provide buttons to submit the application, reset (clear) the form, and exit the application. 4. Design the form for the application program that will meet the requirements described above, applying what you have learned so far in this course about design and usability. 5. Use the toolbox controls in Visual Studio. 6. Include the KFSCIS graphic image logo (KFSCIS-vrt-COLOR.png ) , also displayed on top of these instructions. 7. Use color where appropriate to make the screen attractive.
