Norton Parts, Inc., manufactures fenders for automobiles. Each fender passes through three processes: Molding, Drilling, and Painting. In March, the Molding Department of the Detroit plant reported the following data: Production: Units in process, March 1 3,000 units (60% complete with materials; 20% complete with conversion) Units completed and transferred-out 9,000 units Units in process, March 31 1,000 units (40% complete with materials; 25% complete with conversion) Costs: Work-In-Process, March 1: Materials $ 90,000; Conversion $ 27,600 Costs added during March: Materials $192,000; Conversion $434,900 Using the Weighted-Average method, prepare the production cost report.
